News : Electromet Expands Scope of Its Lockheed Martin Approvals

Being an approved special process supplier to Lockheed Martin for fourteen different special processes, Electromet has been approved by Lockheed Martin for four more welding processes (AWS D17.1, Fusion Welding for Aerospace Applications – both GTAW and GMAW, AWS D1.1, Structural Welding – Steel and AWS D1.2, Structural Welding – Aluminum) and one more paint process (MIL-DTL-53072, Chemical Agent Resistant Coating (CARC) – Application and Quality Control). This enables Electromet to further advance its involvement in different programs with Lockheed Martin by creating opportunities for several Lockheed Martin divisions to take advantage of Electromet’s capabilities in these areas.
